I have learnt my runes by intuition - I believe that the Runes were a way for our Ancestors to communicate and I truly believe that they have a way of speaking that is unique to them.
The runes, unlike the tarot or oracle cards, are 'set' symbols - Jera will always look like Jera no matter which stones you look at.
Short History of the Runes
The Runes are an ancient script, a precursor to our modern alphabet. Each Rune possessed a meaningful name, as well as a significant sound. The Runes were employed for legal documents, poetry, inscriptions but never evolved into a spoken language!
The original interpretations of the Runes are lost to us as most of our Ancestors could not write - so the meanings were passed on verbally and we all know what happens in a game of Chinese Whispers........
There are two ways I can do this reading:
Odin's Rune - this is basically the one Rune draw and can really help to focus your mind on an issue bothering you, or as a quick overview of a situation.
The Three Rune Spread - this will give you an Overview, Challenge and Action
I offer readings in my home in a quiet room or over the 'phone, via skype or email within reason I can also visit your home.
Each session lasts approximately 30 minutes
